Life-improving program of Vedas and the disadvantaged people
 

 Vedas and disadvantaged groups are a small part of the population of Bangladesh. According to the survey conducted by the Social Service Department, there are about 13,26,135 disadvantaged people in the country and 75,702 people in Vedas. The so-called low caste population of fishermen, sages, sages, bears, barbers, Dhopa, Hajam, Dikshit, Pautani, Kawra, Teli, Patikar, Banshofor, Domer, Raut, Telugu, Hala, Hari, Lalbagi, The nomad people are known as Vedas. 99% of the population of Vedas are Muslim and 90% are illiterate. Among the 8 groups, Vedas, Maldesh, Supupariya, Bajikar, Sandar, Tola, Mirshakari, Baori Sandha and Guine Bede etc. Their main occupation is small business, sophistication, snake bite, snakes, snakes, showing snakes, selling snakes, spiritual health care, trumpeting, selling herbal medicine, kaviraji, monkeys, magic shows etc.

 

The program started in 7 districts through the pilot program in the year 2012-2013. Of the pilot programs, seven districts are Dhaka, Chittagong, Dinajpur, Patuakhali, Naogaon, Jessore, Bogra and Habiganj. In 2012-13 fiscal year, allocation was 66,00,000 rupees (six lakh rupees). In 2013-14, the program was implemented in 21 districts including new 14 districts and districts are Dhaka, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Gopalganj, Faridpur, Sherpur, Tangail, Chittagong, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria, Comilla, Pabna, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Jessore, Kushtia , Barisal, Bhola, Patuakhali and Habiganj. In the year 2013-14, the allocation was 7,96,98,000.00 rupees (seven crore six hundred and fifty thousand fifty thousand rupees). This program is being implemented in the previous year in the previous year. The amount of money allocated for the year 2014-15 is 9, 22, 9 4, 000. In the year 2015-2016, 64 districts have been expanded and the amount of allocated amount is 18 crore. In the year 2018-19, the amount allocated in 64 districts amounted to 50 crore 03 lakhs.

 

Goals and Objectives:

Providing stages of 4 levels (monthly, primary 300, secondary 450, high secondary 600 and higher 1000 rupees) for the purpose of educating the school-going students and the undergraduate students;
Bringing the skills of the working Vedas and the disadvantaged people through vocational training and bringing them to the mainstream of the society by engaging them in income generating activities;
Monthly 500 rupees per month, special allowance for disabled and disabled persons of 50 years and above.

Service delivery system (short):

Upazila / City Social Service Officer has notified the notification regarding receipt of allotment. Therefore, the interested person in the prescribed form has to apply to the Social Services Officer. The application received was sent to the Upazila Committees in the form of the proposal by the union committee. Therefore, the Upazila Committee will select the beneficiary according to the allotment by checking the verification. In order to open the bank account in the name of the elected person and transfer the allowance or the coveted money from the central account, the distribution of the allowance or stipends is made after the person is informed.

Trade-based training is provided to 18-year-old high-skilled people. Trainees are provided with post-payable financial assistance.
